May : first real heat, explosion of flowers in gardens and hills, average +14°/20° Perfect moment to go walking. Dry weather.

June : Landscapes full of flowers, generally dry weather,  temperatures between +16/24°, it can reach 28/30°. The first cicadas are heard

July : Average +22/30°. It gets very warm and very dry, intense activity with summer festivals. Days are getting longer.
August : Average +22°/32°. Temperature 22° by night and 32° during yhe day. Drought starts drying plants and nature, profusion of fruits on markets. Human beings and animals search for freshness and water (sea, lakes, rivers...)

September : Average +20°/28°. Temperatures still high, first storms are expected with impatience.

October : Average T° 12°/18°. Rain is more frequent, but days are still soft and sunny. Nature’s colours are changing, wine is being made.

November : Average T°8/14°. Alternation of peaceful sunny weather and rain, misty mornings, short days. Mushrooms season.

Décember : Average T° +6/10°. winter’s coming slowly, first frost, snow falls are also possible. Fresh and wet month.

If you don’t come with your own vehicle, cécile will drive you to visit the area and will lead you to the village to shop a little bit.

whatever the formula you choose, Cécile will love to bring you shop around if you don’t have a car.

Meals
 Top

You will use a completely equipped house, you will only have to fill in the fridge for your meals and breakfast, except for the lunch of our walking days.

 

Payment of the stay
Top

On the booking phase you will be asked to pay 50%, of the global amount of your formula, and the 50% left will have to be given once arrived.

In case of cancellation, we will give you up to 80% of the total sum you sent us under the condition that the cancellation is planned at least 8 days prior to the stay date beginning.

Tax stay amounts 0.30 cents of euro by adult (above 13 yrs old) and by day. You have the possibility to pay by traveller cheques/cheques or transfers.
 

To welcome you in the best conditions

For weekly stays, the welcome of guests will be on saturdays, between 15h/19h (3 pm to 7 pm).

Departures will have to be on the following saturday before noon. (so the cleaning will be completed before other guests arrive).

Despite my desire to leave you in peace, I will come, if agreed upon, every morning between 10h/12h to clean up.

We advise you to keep your expensive belongings and your money with you,because we cannot take the responsibility for them.

 

There is a pond to water the garden nearby the cottages, please watch your kids to avoid any accident.


If any of these conditions do not suit you, (especially schedule matters), please do not hesitate to contact me and we’ll find a better way.

If you wish, you could bring some local goods back, sold at home: honey, calissons, potteries, textiles, olive oil, lavender… but you could also order to Cécile the products you need and she will be delighted to send them by mail.
